Reviews
An excellent stay . We had a premium beachfront ground floor apartment. The kitchen and bathrooms were all modern and the place was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly- thanks Zoe to you and all your team. The swimming pool (20m!!) and spa were excellent . Kayaks and paddle boards to hire -all in excellent condition. Great location
This place is amazing.
The location, the views and the sunsets are just perfect.
We stayed in a beachfront “ground” premium two bed apartment, it exceeded all our expectations.
All the staff are lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Upon arrival we were met with Renae, who I can’t speak highly enough of. She made us feel welcome and went out of her way to check us in earlier.
I knew from the moment I came here that is was going to be hard to leave, and now that I have to leave, I feel sad.
I have the most beautiful photos of the amazing sunset views from our apartment, but they are also etched in my mind forever.
This place for me is simply unforgettable.
I can’t recommend highly enough.
This place is truely amazing. Go for a beach front apartment if you can! Private beach, beautiful views and sunsets, kayaks and paddle boards await you. The huge pool is heated and the massive jacuzzi is to die for. Public transport to both …
Cute little place. Air con is a bit dodgy but that's the owner's fault more than the resort. Gardens are beautiful, car park is clean, pool is clean, everyone is friendly. Very nice.
We had a great stay at Culgoa resort during our school holiday break. We stayed in the loft for 3 nights. Great view with spacious rooms. Car parking is nice and wide. Wifi connection is good. There is direct beach access and barbecue facility onsite. Swimming pool is good size with hot spa area near by. Overall happy with our stay.
The Location:
Right on the river with a private beach fantastic, you can't get much better.
The resort and grounds are well kept. The large pool complex is very nice, there's even a small gym.
Sunsets from Apt 46 ( facing south west) were amazing, great looking over the river and water activities.
The complex has kayaks and paddle boards available.
The Rooms:
Apartment 46
Note: all apartments in this complex are privately owned, thetefore each property quality would depend on the owners discretion as to what the condition of the internal fitout offered to paying visitors. Pot luck really as you can't choose.
Apart from the queen bed (very comfortable), however this apartment is very tired. The carpets are old and heavily marked. They should be steamcleaned regularly or better still replace.
OMG!!! The washing machine.
The top of the machine was really rusty, inside the lid was so bad..see photo. Comon, just replace both units they must be 10+ years old.
Also the little things and attention to detail make a property worth the huge money we spend. For example, the metal rubbish bin in the bathroom. Rusty, old. A Kmart modern never rush plastic bin would cost $10.
The resort manager would have a discretionary spend to cover most of the tired things in the apartment, so we can't just blame the owner.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL and caring about paying visitors should be a top priority.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of Hastings Street. The apartment itself was OK, I feel it looked tired and really need an update. The cleaning of the bathroom was not thorough as I found black hair on the floor (and we are a family of blonds!). For the price we paid, I would have expected a higher standard.
Great rooms, excellent location and amenities. We'll certainly be back.
